Auditions for "Best Christmas Pageant Ever" at the Pumphouse Players

The Pumphouse Players will be holding auditions for their Christmas show The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Auditions will be held Sun. Oct. 9 and Tues. Oct. 11 at 7:00pm. The location for the auditions will be the Legion Theater at 114 W. Main St. in downtown Cartersville.

This Christmas tradition at the Legion is a great way to introduce children to the wonder of live theater. We usually cast from 15 to 20 kids for this production. We are looking for children ages 7 to 16 for both speaking and non-speaking parts. There are also several parts for adults. (read "Parents of the kids")

SYNOPSIS:

The Herdmans are the worst kids ever! They only reason the teachers keep passing them is to make sure they never have two of them in the same grade at the same time. No one ever expected them to try out for the Christmas pageant. Poised for disaster, the results are both hilarious and moving. In the end, this is not just a funny show, but a powerful story of redemption and the true meaning of Christmas.
