Snow Likely, Flooding Possible

A Flood Watch remains in effect through tonight, and Cartersville is likely to see light snow by morning.

While remains under a Flood Watch through late tonight, weather forecasters say it's likely we'll see snow flurries as the temperature drops.

According to the National Weather Service, a strong cold front is moving into Georgia this morning, and will be followed by colder air. It coupled with moisture also moving into the region is likely to produce a light rain-and-snow mix, which will change to light snow overnight and into the morning.

Because surface temperatures are expected to remain above freezing, no accumulation is anticipated. Precipitation is likely to end by mid afternoon tomorrow.
