Pets of the Week: Brandy and Oliver

These two furry pals at the Etowah Valley Humane Society are anxiously waiting to be the new members of safe and happy homes.

Pet’s Name: Brandy

Brandy’s Age: 1 year and 11 months

About Brandy: Brandy is a very sophisticated, red-and-white Australian Kelpie Mix.

Brandy’s Vaccinations: Brandy has received all of her vaccinations has been de-wormed, spayed and tested negative for heartworm. Upon adoption Brandy will receive a flea and tick treatment, rabies vaccination, micro-chipping and a full health check with a veterinarian. All of these services, as well as a gift card to cover the cost of her rabies vaccination, are included in the cost of her adoption.

Brandy would LOVE to be part of your family: Brandy is an energetic and friendly dog who is very happy being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life. She enjoys long walks and playtime with stuffed animals and rope toys. Brandy gets along very well with other animals and isn’t intimidating for children. She would make the perfect addition to families with active children or anyone who’s looking for a sweet and attentive companion.

Pet’s Name: Oliver

Oliver’s Age: 7 months

About Oliver: Oliver is a very sweet black-and-white Domestic Short Hair.   

Oliver’s Vaccinations: Oliver is a slim, sleek cat. He has not been declawed, is up to date on all of his vaccinations and has already been neutered. A full health check is included in the cost of Oliver’s adoption.

Oliver would LOVE to be a part of your family: Oliver, who has been a resident of the Etowah Valley Humane Society since April, loves attention and getting to pounce and play with toys. He enjoys plenty of nap time, but is very sociable and gets along very well with other animals and people. Oliver has a sweet and curious disposition that can sometimes lead to his being the center of attention. He would be the purrfect addition to a safe and loving home.

How to adopt Brandy and Oliver

Contact the Etowah Valley Humane Society at 770-383-3338. The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday from 12 to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m.
