Don Troiani will speak about his career in his first visit to Georgia in over a decade.

The man who has been dubbed America's most respected historical artist will return to the Booth Western Art Museum next week.

Don Troiani will visit the museum on Thursday, April 17 to speak about his career as part of Booth's Third Thursday Evening Lecture Series.

To go along with the 150th anniversary of the Civil War's move through Georgia, the Booth Museum will offer a special package for attendees. These tickets will include a private group gallery walk with Troiani, the evening lecture, dinner following the program, discount in the Booth Store and a poster print of Troiani's masterwork "Allatoona Pass."

Tickets are $40 for museum members, $50 for non-members and must be purchased by Monday, April 14. Tickets can be purchased by calling 770-387-1300.

Ticket prices do not include tax and are non-refundable. Tickets to just attend the lecture are included in the general admission pricing of $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (65 and up), $7 for students and free for children 12 and under, museum members, and active military service men and women.
