Here We Go, Snow Again

What do you need to know today? A lot happens in our not-so-little city, but we'll keep you informed.

1. Get ready for another wet one and maybe some of the white stuff. The National Weather Service predicts rain mainly after 1 p.m. with a 70 percent chance and a high of 51. We could see snow or a wintry mix through 1 a.m. with a 30 percent chance of precipitation and low of 30.

2. Be prepared for more wintry weather Wednesday and Thursday. Ready for spring yet?

Snow and sleet is 20 percent likely Wednesday, but that night, the chance for flakes increases to 70 percent with a low of 32. The chance of snow Thursday is 40 percent.

5. From our interesting but not pertinent file: The Super Bowl has apparently moved from the last Sunday in January to the first Sunday in February.

Through 2002, the big game was held the last Sunday in January. Due to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, TV schedules were delayed one week, pushing it to Feb. 3, 2002.

In 2004 and 2005, the Super Bowl was held on the first Sunday of February. The championship game is scheduled accordingly for the next several years.
