GDOT To Paint I-75 Bridges Over Lake Allatoona in Bartow
The price tag is nearly $3 million.
Work could soon begin on a new project to paint the two Interstate 75 bridges over Lake Allatoona in Bartow County.
The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded a contract valued at nearly $2 million dollars for a project that includes painting the steel superstructure and bearings on the two interstate bridges, according to the press release.
This construction project is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2014, at a cost of $2,852,000. Information on work plans and lane closure schedules on this project will be forthcoming before work begins.
