Fireball Run's signature cause, the Race to Recover America's Missing Children, is the largest nationwide awareness campaign and has aided in the recovery of 35 missing children.

Each Fireball Run team is assigned a child missing from its home region. While competing in the adventure, it's the teams' mission to distribute 1,000 posters throughout the journeys in an effort to raise awareness for and aid in the recovery of that missing child.
