Going the Extra "Mall Mile" This Holiday Season

One and a half miles of walking are available to shoppers at Town Center at Cobb in nearby Kennesaw.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Strong4Life suggests kids and families get a total of 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Being active, however, should never feel like a chore.

As a matter of fact, you are probably moving more than you even realize just by doing your holiday shopping this season. That's right, while braving the crowds for those one-of-a-kind deals; you’re also getting in some serious mileage without even trying!

Check out the mileage at five malls around the metro Atlanta area:

  • Town Center at Cobb: 1.5 miles
  • Lenox Square Mall: 1.34 miles
  • Mall of Georgia: 3 miles
  • Northlake Mall: 1 mile
  • Phipps Plaza: 1 mile

Walking distances are estimated based on total mall footprint available to shoppers. Visit Strong4Life.com for more information and tips on surviving this holiday season.
