More About Bartow County Schools
With 21 schools in the system, Bartow County Schools is the 25th largest school district in Georgia and educates more than 14,000 students.
Facilities include 12 elementary, four middle and three high schools, and Stars Pre-School, all of the which are in Cartersville and other Bartow County cities.
The system is the largest employer in the county with about 2,000 employees and has an yearly $122-million budget.
The district's Exceptional Students Department, which oversees the inclusion of disabled students, is located adjacent to the district office at 67 Gilreath Road in Cartersville.
