Bartow County Sheriff's Office Deputy Chad Tatum, while traveling out of town for the holidays, was driving a motorcycle July 3 when he was struck by a hit and run driver in Forsyth, Georgia. After being transported to Macon, Georgia with a severely broken right leg, he was admitted to surgery. After the first surgery to set his leg, it was discovered that the nerves and main artery feeding his right foot were gravely damaged. After numerous subsequent surgeries attempting to save his foot, amputation was required. Deputy Tatum and his family have incurred great expense and will continue to incur expenses as he recovers. Deputy Tatum also has limited leave from work which will cause him to lose income until his recovery is complete.
This benefit singing will feature gospel groups: The Mountainaires; Brothers in Christ; The Roundtree Family; Renewed Trio; The Vine Family; and Enlisted. The cost is a $10 donation at the door. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO DEPUTY TATUM AND HIS FAMILY.
