DESCRIPTION:Advocates for Children is delighted to announce the 20th Annu
 al production of Every Child&rsquo\;s A Star in 2013.&nbsp\; Auditions f
 or this perennial favorite will be held at Expedition Church (32 Center 
 Road\, Cartersville) on both Saturday\, December 15 from 9 a.m. to noon\
 , and Tuesday\, December 18 from 6-8 p.m.&nbsp\; (Choose whichever time 
 is more convenient.) Children from kindergarten through grade 12 are inv
 ited to audition. We want lots of variety!&nbsp\; Acts can be solo or en
 sembles\, and can include singing\, other musical acts\, dances\, gymnas
 tics\, juggling\, puppetry\, pantomime\, ventriloquists\, magic\, comedi
 c skits. The sky is the limit&mdash\;because once again-- that&rsquo\;s 
 where the stars are!\nMusical contestants should bring CD audio for thei
 r 2-3 minute auditions and plan to arrive early to complete registration
  materials.\nThere is no fee to participate.&nbsp\; However\, each child
  in every act selected to be in the show is required to sell at least 10
  tickets (at $10 each) to the performance\, which will be held early thi
 s year\, on Saturday\, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodland High Sch
 ool Performing Arts Center.&nbsp\; All proceeds will support Advocates f
 or Children&rsquo\;s many child abuse prevention and support programs an
 d services.\nThe Woodland C.A.T.S. group will produce the show this year
 \, and we are also happy to announce that Avian Brown\, the reigning Bar
 tow and Georgia Distinguished Young Woman\, will serve as emcee.\nThis 2
 0th annual event will be the first in a series of celebrations in 2013 a
 s Advocates looks back on 30 years of working to help children in Bartow
  County and beyond.&nbsp\; As part of the show\, we are looking for pict
 ures and videos from all of our prior performances.&nbsp\; We would also
  like to talk to &ldquo\;alumni&rdquo\; of the show over the years who m
 ight be willing to share with us how participating in ECAS may have impa
 cted their lives or careers.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nFor more information about A
