More About Clarence Brown Conference Center
Constructed with "Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Dollars" as a joint project between Bartow County and the city of Cartersville, the Clarence Brown Conference Center, named after long time Bartow County sole Commissioner Clarence Brown, plays host to business meetings, social gatherings and other functions.
The "green" facility constructed mostly with locally purchased materials has a banquet; theater; an executive board room; and several meeting rooms, one of which is a hall and can be broken into three separate spaces.
The conference center provides professional AV services and administrative support, such as copying, shredding and supplies.
It also houses offices of the Cartersville-Bartow County Convention and Visitors Bureau and a visitor's center with information for tourists.
Green features of the building include reserved parking for fuel efficient, low emissions vehicles, thermally efficient exterior walls, recycled glass flooring and cradle-to-cradle carpeting. Recycling also is encouraged of patrons.
The grounds include an amphitheater and courtyard.
