DESCRIPTION:The  Bartow County College and Career Academy is set to open 
 in August  of 2013 and will be housed at the current Bartow Learning Cen
 ter\, the old Cass  High School\, on Grassdale Road in Cartersville.&nbs
 p\;\nInitial programs at the  Career Academy will include four career pa
 thways: Engineering\, Health  Care\, Public Safety and Marketing.\nAddit
 ionally\, students who meet  specific criteria can participate in dual c
 ollege enrollment. These  programs will be available to rising sophomore
 s and juniors enrolled in  the Bartow County School System.\nAn informat
 ional meeting for parents  and students will be held at the Bartow Learn
