Bartow County College and Career Academy Parent and Student Meeting
The Bartow County College and Career Academy is set to open in August of 2013 and will be housed at the current Bartow Learning Center, the old Cass High School, on Grassdale Road in Cartersville.
Initial programs at the Career Academy will include four career pathways: Engineering, Health Care, Public Safety and Marketing.
Additionally, students who meet specific criteria can participate in dual college enrollment. These programs will be available to rising sophomores and juniors enrolled in the Bartow County School System.
An informational meeting for parents and students will be held at the Bartow Learning Center on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at 6 p.m.

Bartow County Learning Center is a specialty facility offering non-traditional education programs for students. The center offers a range of virtual courses to sixth through eighth graders that can attend part time and are supervised by teachers. The program is flexible and allows for students to participate in many subjects, including science, math, language, social studies, technology and more.
