The culmination of months of fund raising, 2013's Bartow County Relay for Life, event during which participants will honor cancer victims and survivors and raise awareness and money for a cure, is set for Sept. 6, at Dellinger Park in Cartersville. Thirty-two local teams, with a total of 96 participants, have already raised nearly $13,000, according to the American Cancer Society's event website.
