Local moms pose a plethora of child-rearing questions.
We’ve had them in dinosaur shapes and in the classic small, round patty. What child doesn’t like the chicken nugget, a molded piece of chicken product, breaded then fried or baked? The scary concoction has become a staple in my home — the words "chicken product" send shivers down my spine. But I suspect I'm not the only parent who just gives them what they’ll eat. I wouldn’t touch that "product" with a 10-foot pole, yet my 7-year-old devours nuggets as if she were starving, having forsook a “real” piece of chicken, a baked breast with a dash of seasoning.
