Are you looking for a cuddly lap dog? Rockey is your guy. He's a one year old chi-mix that's looking for that comfy couch to settle into for Christmas. He's been neutered, heartworm tested, has all of his shots and has a microchip.

Adoption applications for Rockey are available on the Etowah Valley Humane Society website - www.etowahvalleyhumane.org with a $175 fee for dogs or puppies and a $125 fee for cats or kittens.

Adoption hours are from noon to five p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays at the Etowah Valley Humane Society, a nonprofit animal welfare agency. The EVHS campus is located at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville.

Volunteers and donations are always appreciated. We need adoption volunteers every weekend at the Acworth Petco from noon to four p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
