A local woman said she was robbed at gunpoint Monday night when she knocked on an old friend's door in Cartersville.
About 9:30, the woman and her companion, both 27, knocked on the door of the Akin Road home and reported hearing a man say, "Put that [expletive] up," and "Who is it?," according to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office report.
The man who answered the door said the friend no longer lived there and produced a gun, demanding the victim empty her pockets. She handed over $100 and said the man threatened to shoot her if the couple didn't leave.
The companion said he emptied his pockets, too, and a third person said he saw the incident from the couple's car.
Deputies got no answer when they knocked on the door about 20 minutes later.
