She should resign. If you don't want public scrutiny, don't run for office. No person who endangers a child through their poor judgement (whether the 17 year old was foolish or not) should remain on a school board.

Her record should speak for itself. Her career and life should not be destroyed if she doesnt have a history of this sorta stuff. She made a bad quick decision that im sure she regrets. A fine and maybe 7 days in jail. If michael vick can be forguven and get his job back along with millions of dollars this lady may deserve another go at it.

Why shoul we give her another chance with children that she endangers and makes decisions for herself rather than the children and parents she represents. The comment about another chance is saying like lets give a child molester another chance with another child since the molester only molested one child. RIDICULOUS and stupid. She needs to go Immediately.

I feel that she needs to resign her school board post and also seek treatment for her anger issues!! Hit a child that goes that just goes to show that she doesn't value the children that she represents!! As Matt Lauer and his co- anchor said today that parking lot looked awful big... why not make another loop around and surely she would have found another parking spot!! She NEEDS IMMEDIATE help with her anger issues! Geez lady please realize that the world and Bartow County does NOT revolve around you!!

They both were being childish. But the point being Angie hit this girl it clearly shows that in the video. This isn't the first incident Angie has been involved in within the last six months(remember the recorded phone conversations). This to me is just more proof that shows she needs to resign. There are problems going on weither at home or at work. She definitely has some anger issues she needs to address before having a position dealing with our kids or the courts.

good news, according to a news release in the RN-T angie cornett has resigned, a teenager was able to accomplish what hundreds of adults have attempted to do for over a year.

OMG, I can not believe this made the Today News show. At least the teenager had teeth and was decent looking. Usually they find someone in Bartow that has not teeth, looks like trash with hair growing out their chin.

The Parents in Bartow County need to wake up and realize this is just the tip of the iceberg. Corruption abounds in Bartow County and with the BBOE as well. They have had various complaints filed by concerned citizens and taxpayers, but more people need to see for themselves what is going on. Quit letting them shove it under the rug. Make them be accountable to you and make sure your child is getting the best education available, and you are being represented by a person in your District who really cares about your children's welfare.
Angie Cornett should resign. Her behavior has been deplorable over the past several months, and she definitely has anger management issues. This type of behavior at the Walmart parking lot should never have happened. Cornett has no business being involved with or for children of any age if she cannot control her actions. The people of Bartow deserve better and so do the children.
