Tornado Test Set for Wednesday
As part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, the National Weather Service will conduct a tornado drill at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
Don't panic if you hear tornado sirens and emergency alert messages on TV in Cartersville at 9 a.m. Wednesday, as they are most likely part of a statewide tornado drill.
The National Weather Service has designated Feb. 6 through 10 as Georgia Severe Weather Awareness Week with Wednesday set aside for tornado safety awareness.
