Teacher Pleads Guilty to Child Porn

The Kingston man with ties to Cartersville taught at Mill Creek Middle School in Woodstock.

Raymond Robin Watts, 55, also known as “Robin St. Taw,” pleaded guilty today in federal court to distributing and possessing child pornography.

Watts, of Kingston, who was a middle school teacher at Mill Creek Middle School in Woodstock, was connected to the “'Boylover' pedophile community.”

During the course of an , law enforcement officers discovered Watts appeared to be a possessor of sexually explicit images of children, in particular, minor boys.   

In early 2011, an undercover law enforcement agent made contact with Watts, which led to in-person meetings between Watts and the undercover agent.

During one of the meetings, Watts distributed numerous images of child pornography to the agent. He was later found to have hundreds of sexually explicit images of children on his home computer.

Watts could receive a maximum sentence of 30 years incarcerated, a total fine of $250,000 and supervised release for life. He is scheduled to be sentenced before U.S. District Court Judge Robert L. Vining on Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.
