Authorities arrested the Guest House resident accused of selling the .mp3 player to Game Stop.
A Cartersville man accused of taking his roommate’s iPod and selling it has been arrested.
Sheriff Clark Millsap said in a press release Bartow County Sheriff's Office deputies received the report of the theft from a Guest House resident, who said a roommate refused to return the iPod.
Authorities say Jason Alan Edwards, 39, had sold it to Game Stop, which the victim later discovered.
Investigators recovered the iPod and arrested Edwards. He is charged with theft by taking and theft by deception.
He is currently housed at the Bartow County jail on those charges and is being held on a probation violation without bond.
