Police: Bomb Threat was Hoax
Stores in the shopping center on East Main Street where The Dollar Tree is located were evacuated.
A spokesman for the Cartersville Police Department said that a bomb threat being investigated earlier tonight at The Dollar Tree on East Main Street appears to have been a hoax.
Lt. Mark Camp said that words containing the threat were found written on a wall in a restroom at the store but that nothing was found during the investigation. Stores in the shopping center were evacuated while officers werer on the scene.
