Worker Killed at Little River Marina - Canton-Sixes Patch
A male worker of at the Little River Marina was killed in a workplace accident this morning, according to authorities.
Lt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said that deputies were dispatched to the marina at 11:19 a.m. to respond to a workplace accident. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased male who worked at the marina. Visit Canton-Sixes Patch for more on this story.
R&B Singer Carjacked Outside Midtown Recording Studio - Midtown Patch
An arrest has been made in the Tuesday night Midtown carjacking of a Bentley belonging to Robert “Bobby” Wilson, better known as R&B singer Bobby Valentino or Bobby V.
Atlanta police say a second suspect has not been located as of early Wednesday afternoon during the crime that occurred in a parking lot adjacent to the Hot Beats Recording Studio at 1200 Spring Street just north of 14th Street. Read more at Midtown Patch.

Bar Patron Who Said He Was Beaten by Police Officer Awarded $50,000 - Buckhead Patch
Members of the Atlanta City Council have agreed to pay $50,000 to a Buckhead bar patron who says he was beaten by a police officer.
The patron, Chris Putnam, has moved to New York since the incident happened in 2008.
