Former Sprayberry Player Killed
Atlanta police say a former Georgia State University and Sprayberry High School soccer player was fatally shot early Sunday morning in Southeast Atlanta.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 23-year-old Ayokunle Lumpkin of Kennesaw was shot during a confrontation on Milton Avenue.

A missing Sixes Elementary sixth grader "may be in danger," and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding him.
No one has seen or heard from 11-year-old Elijah Cole, his father Jason Cole or family friend Will Copes since Friday night when they stayed at a friend's Cherokee County home, Lt. Jay Baker said this evening.

Suspicious Package in Austell Found Not to be Dangerous
Cobb Fire Department responded to a 9:30 a.m. call about a suspicious package on Keith Avenue in Austell on Monday.
A contractor working to repair a fence reported the package, which was marked "warning" and "radioactive," found in a carport of a nearby house.

Suspects in Holly Springs Home Invasion and Chase Arrested
Three suspects who allegedly broke into a Amylou Circle home, forced the family in the home to get on the floor, and eventually led local authorities on a brief chase, have been arrested.
At about 2 a.m., three people broke into a home in the 200 block of Amylou Circle, Holly Springs Police Lt. Tanya Anderson said.

Warning: Questionable Solicitors Cash Checks, Fail to Perform Work
If three heavyset white men in a green Chevy pickup truck offer to perform yard work, don't fork over any money until the job is complete.
In the last week, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office has received at least three reports about "individuals driving a green Chevy pick-up truck who are soliciting residents to perform various types of yard work to include laying down pine straw and clearing debris," Lt. Jay Baker said today.

Trio Impersonate Police, Rob Driver
According to the AJC, a man driving a Direct TV van on Highway 124 was pulled over by a black Crown Victoria with flashing blue lights.
Cpl. Jake Smith said that "one of the suspects produced a handgun and put it to the victim's head" after they pulled him over on Telida Trail.
