Atlanta Police Seek Baby-Toting Robbers  

Atlanta Police are asking for the public's help in finding a couple suspected of committing two Buckhead area robberies over the Labor Day weekend.

In at least one of the crimes, police reports indicate that the couple took a baby along during their caper.

Woman Puts Fetus in Freezer, Says She Couldn't Afford Burial

Alpharetta has completed its investigation into a fetus discovered in a freezer in an Alpharetta townhome this summer.

George Gordon, spokesperson for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety said no charges will be filed against anyone involved in the case.

Police determined the mother had a miscarriage in the second trimester of the pregnancy, Gordon stated in a release.

"The mother placed the non-viable fetus in the freezer because she did not have the financial means for a proper disposal or burial," he said.

Pantless Woman Charged With Public Indecency

A 47-year-old Braselton woman is facing charges of public indecency, public intoxication, obstruction, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace following a Sept. 1 incident in Winder. 

According to a Winder Police Department incident report, an officer was dispatched to the area of West New Street and Sixth Avenue in reference to two intoxicated individuals arguing in the street. Exiting a patrol vehicle, the officer was executing a traffic stop on a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and observed a white female wearing no pants running away.

Rabid Raccoon Bites North Forsyth Man

A raccoon that bit a 72-year-old man on the finger last week in northwest Forsyth County has tested positive for rabies, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was bitten on Aug. 30 as he was entering his barn to get food for his animals.

“The raccoon gave no signs of aggression or being rabid when the man saw him," said Lt. David Waters of the Special Services Unit of the FCSO. "It just attacked him immediately when he came into the barn."

Cobb Animal Control Finds Macaw in Marietta
