New School Hours Start the Week
Bartow County schools begin Monday with a new schedule to account for some of the days missed due to inclement weather.
Beginning Monday, children in Bartow County Schools will have longer days due to a total of six snow days, five of which administrators plan to make up.
In addition to Winter Break and a teacher work day, which have been cancelled, students should be in class during the following hours:
• Elementary schools — 7:50 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Middle and high schools — 8:20 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.

why couldnt you take the teacher work days away? The teachers have to be there any way so send the kids.
