Edward Anthony Royster, 23, of Cartersville, is wanted on aggravated assault and battery charges and may be in possession of a stun gun.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office adds a mugshot each week to its list of Bartow's Most Wanted, people who have been accused of crimes, not convicted. They are presumed innocent until the court system settles their cases.

Suspect: Edward Anthony Royster, 23

  • Description: African-American man; 6-feet-1-inch tall and 139 pounds; black hair and brown eyes; tattoos on both shoulders.
  • Accusation: Royster is wanted in connection with an alleged Wednesday night altercation with a Stonehaven Circle woman. Authorities say Royster may be in possession of the stun gun allegedly used in the incident.
  • Outstanding Charges: Aggravated Assault and Battery.
  • Last Known Addresses: 18 Old Roving Road or Stonehaven Circle, both in Cartersville.

Anyone with information on Royster's whereabouts should call 911 and notify the dispatcher he is a wanted person. BCSO's phone line for anonymous tips is 770-606-TIPS (8477) and now tipsters can report information via the department's Facebook page.
