Man with Cane Swipes Sunglasses, Again
Two pair of Ray Ban sunglasses were taken from Pearl Vision in Cartersville in a third shoplifting incident.
An elderly man walking with a cane on Monday took two pairs of sunglasses from Pearl Vision in Cartersville, according to a Bartow County Sheriff's Office incident report.
The incident about 11:15 a.m. follows two previous cases of suspected shoplifting by an African-American man captured on video surveillance.
Four pairs of sunglasses were stolen in those incidents, and two more, valued at a total of $400, were taken Monday. The man wearing a white shirt and blue jeans entered the store, walked around for a few minutes and left in a green Cadillac sedan.
Following his sudden departure, an employee noticed the two Ray Ban sunglasses missing from a display.
If you have information on the identity of the suspected sunglasses shoplifter, call the Criminal Investigations Division at 770-382-5050, extension 6030, or click Report A Crime on BCSO's Facebook page.

The employees in this store must not be very attentive to their customers. THREE times the same man walks in, with a CANE , which should draw someone's attention and then he walks OUT with sunglasses he's stolen?
