Cole’s Pool Supply and Service, located at 650 Henderson Drive, is a family-owned retail and full-service pool company. For service work they do installations, maintenance, seasonal open/close and pool liners. They also have anything you need for a pool in the store.

When you call or stop by Cole’s you’ll be greeted by Wanda Cole, the matriarch of the Cole family. Wanda knows a lot about pools.

“We opened the Cartersville store in August 2010,” she said, “but we’ve been doing pools for over 10 years.”

The Cole family started out in lawn care in 1997 and that business naturally transitioned into pool service work when customers began requesting pool maintenance along with their lawn care. Wanda’s son, Andrew, took over the lawn care company in 2009, a year after Wanda and her husband opened their first pool supply and service store in Calhoun. A year later they expanded to Cartersville where Wanda now runs the store. Andrew Cole does the service work along with Marty Wubanks, who helps out with the installations.

This time of year customers primarily want help opening their pools, testing their water and getting new liners. Of course, as the days get hotter and hotter, some folks are thinking about installing a pool for the first time.

The store is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“We are new to Bartow County,” Wanda said, “but we are not new to the people in Bartow County because we know a lot of people here.”
