Good to see early indications that TSPLOST is going to crash and burn. Every new project doesn't need to have a new tax. Until the money that we already send to the State is properly managed, why should we send more. And what is this wording on the ballot-trying to sell it as a "Jobs" program? Are we supposed to tax ourselves so that the government can create more public jobs? Come on, is it a transportation bill or a jobs bill?

What a shame that in a County with over 100,000 people, only 9-10000 cared enough to show up and excercise their right to vote! That's correct "RIGHT" A right that someone fought and died for you to have! Shame, Shame on those too lazy to show up.

Larry, these numbers include all 17 precincts and early in-person votes, but not absentee or provisional ballots. And of course, they're not yet certified.

I would politely ask our anonymous Tea Party commenters to please elaborate upon what must be an evil conspiracy behind the shocking School Board results.
