'Great' Voter Turnout Expected
Several local Republican races could be decided in Tuesday's primary election.
With several Republican races expected to either be decided or progress to a runoff and special elections, Tuesday's primary election is an important one for Bartow County.
Elections officials expect "great" voter turnout, a staffer said by phone.
More than 7.5 percent, or 4,472, of Bartow's 58,797 registered voters already cast ballots during advanced voting. About 86 percent, or 3,854, of the early, in-person voters cast Republican primary ballots.

Eight of Bartow County's 17 polling places—all of which are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.—are in Cartersville:

- Mission Road Elementary School
