Cheapest Gas: $3.23 To $3.29
In this daily feature, Cartersville Patch tells you where to save money on fuel.
Down 5 cents from yesterday, the cheapest gas in Cartersville is $3.23, according to AtlantaGasPrices.com the last time we checked.
While most stations have it for $3.28 or $3.29, two stations were cheaper:
- Pure, U.S. 41 and Mac Johnson Road—$3.23; and
- BP, Burnt Hickory and Mission roads—$3.26.
The big stations—RaceTrac, QuikTrip, Pilot, TA and others—and the grocery stores—Kroger, Ingles—were still at $3.29.
If you shop at either of the two grocery stores in town with pumps, you could get gas for 10 cents—or more—off. Just check the bottom of your receipt to make sure you have enough fuel points and at the pump swipe your Kroger Plus or Ingles Advantage card.
Murphy U.S.A. near Walmart also offers a 10-cent-per-gallon discount on gas with the use of Walmart gift card.
If you prefer to fill up closer to work or home, check out the MapQuest cheap gas tool, which was built by our parent company, AOL. It allows you to find the cheapest gas nearest to your location.
