Hey, don't you think you ought to wait and see if anything really happens. Does Bartow county school board have any sense at all. I bet city schools don't cancel. How would you like someone that hit someone standing in a parking space deciding if you should have school. NOT a.c.

Do you have children or any sense of how a county school system is operated? If any fringe of a county is expected to receive non-safe roads, hindering driving conditions, during any part of the school day, the entire county school system is cancelled or delayed. The county cannot close Adairsville schools and keep Emerson open. However, if within the Cartersville city limits, there is not expected to be any weather issues, then they can certainly stay open with only 3-4 schools within a 2-3 mile radius. Furthermore, I doubt the Wal-Mart incident in December has any correlation whatsoever to being sure the roads are safe for the buses which transport many children in our county.
