Authorities Arrest Murder Suspect
An Emerson man is in law enforcement custody, charged with murder in connection with a slaying at 35 Harvest Way in Cartersville.
Bartow County Sheriff’s Office investigators late today arrested an Emerson man in connection with the fatal shooting at 35 Harvest Way in Cartersville.
According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, deputies and officers with the U.S. Marshals Service Metro Atlanta Fugitive Task Force found and arrested Antonio Shamarr Linley, 22, of Emerson in Dalton.
Linley is in law enforcement custody and will be transported to the Bartow County Jail, where he faces a murder charge and will await a bond hearing.
Authorities are not releasing information on the possible motive.
The body of Timothy Lee Buck, 46, of 132 Jackson Circle, Marietta, was found sitting on the front porch of a friend's home with a gunshot wound to the head.
