Designs by Carol is Cartersville Patch Readers' Choice for favorite florist in town, despite few votes in our poll this week and fewer ratings and reviews in our free business directory.

With one five-star rating and 54 percent of the votes, Designs by Carol beat out several other florists in town. Located in the historic Strickland-McClary House, the quaint florist also offers gifts, such as collectible teapots, cards and stationery.

"They do beautiful work, you can tell they put their heart and soul into each arrangement," Debra Draudt said in a review with a five-star rating. "I have been the fortunate recipient of her work several times and I am never disappointed."
