4th of July Parade a Star-Spangled Success
Hundreds of patriotic Cartersvillians flocked to the square this morning to celebrate Independence Day.
Many of Cartersville's local businesses, government and nonprofit groups paraded up Church Street and down Main Street early Monday morning amid the excited cheers of families and friends gathered all around the square to ring in our nation's birthday.
Anthems blared and star-spangled flags and banners waved from trucks and bikes and rooftops as the parade marched its way through town before the day's holiday began at .
