School boards continue to ignore what the majority of people want. It's ridiculous to start school before Labor Day. When you start in early August you deny families of prime vacation time, you hurt Georgia's economy, and it causes higher utility bills for the school system by having to air condition entire buildings during the hottest month of the year.
